Revealed atypical growth (infiltrative growth), epithelial cells at the expense of thorny layer in the form of interwoven strands, leaving deep in the skin with invasion into basement membrane. Cells themselves in the majority of atypical and arranged randomly. Distinguish between keratinizing and keratinizing, more malignant skin cancer. Atypia is characterized by varying the size and shape of cell hyperplasia and hyper hromatosomy nuclei, the absence of intercellular bridges, the presence of abnormal mitoses. When squamous cell carcinoma of a tendency to keratinization, resulting in a thicker epithelial layer revealed the so-called horn "pearls". It should be noted that atypia is more pronounced when no keratotic form of cancer.
