What is an optic nerve glioma
Glioma of the optic nerve occurs most frequently in childhood gliomas rarely found in older people. It develops from glial cells of the optic nerve. Gliomas can occur anywhere on the nerve, while it grows along the course of the optic nerve and can extend into the cranial cavity.
